U.S. Army Adds Sev1Tech to $250M Cloud Computing Contract

Woodbridge, VA – Sev1Tech today announced that it has been awarded a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to support the Army’s migration to cloud-based IT infrastructure solutions. The Army Cloud Computing Enterprise Transformation (ACCENT) contract vehicle has an estimated ceiling value of $247.7 million across all holders and is valid through February 2020.
“ACCENT is critical in supporting the Army’s mission to maintain combat readiness and warfighter superiority. It is critical to have a strong IT infrastructure supporting that mission. Sev1Tech has the experience and expertise to provide the Army with that technological advantage,” said Brian McIntyre, Senior Vice President at Sev1Tech.
Managed by the Army’s Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO-EIS), ACCENT is the Army’s preferred contract vehicle to procure cloud hosting, application modernization, and transition support services. This contract aligns with the Army’s plan to consolidate hundreds of its data center facilities into Core Data Centers and modernize enterprise systems and applications.
Under ACCENT, Sev1Tech will leverage its commercial cloud expertise to support the Army and other Department of Defense (DoD) agencies in transitioning their systems and applications to FedRAMP-certified commercial cloud hosting solutions. Sev1Tech will fulfill the Army’s need for public, private, or hybrid cloud infrastructures; off-premise and on-premise environments; and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud computing solutions.
Additionally, Sev1Tech will provide transition support services to maintain the availability of global networks and mission-critical systems that keep the Army running.
