Sev1Tech Takes Action to Help Employees Affected by Hurricane Helene
In the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Helene, Sev1Tech employees drove from the HQ office in Woodbridge, VA down to our Augusta, GA office location to provide employees with water, meals, mobile charging stations, and internet access.
WOODBRIDGE, Va., October 4, 2024 — In the wake of the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, this week Sev1Tech was proud to act and support those affected by this powerful storm. Our dedicated team has hit the ground running, delivering 8 generators, essential food, and supplies to impacted communities, ensuring that families and individuals in need have access to power, nourishment, and basic resources during this critical time.
Early Monday morning, Sev1Tech HQ employees went to the local wholesale store in Woodbridge, VA, and packed two large trucks with water, snacks, gas and hearty meals. Together, Bob Lohfeld, Martin Wright, and John Miranda then made the nine-hour trek down to Augusta, GA, to transform our office into a relief center for our employees and their families.
In addition, we’re providing mobile device charging stations and temporary internet access to help our Sev1Tech Family in Augusta stay connected when communication is most vital. Whether it’s for medical needs, contacting loved ones, or simply keeping the lights on, we’re doing everything we can to provide immediate relief.
These efforts are just the beginning as we continue to work hand-in-hand with local organizations and residents to assist in recovery efforts and ensure no one is left behind. At Sev1Tech, we believe that community is everything, and when disaster strikes, it’s our responsibility to stand up and help. We are honored to be a part of this recovery journey and remain committed to making a positive impact for those who need it most.
