Michael Fry is the general manager of Sev1Tech’s Space division. Fry oversees the operations delivery, quality of customer solutions and services as well as growth for the Space division and ensures that they meet the highest standards of compliance, performance and innovation.

Fry is an industry leader with more than 15 years of experience in cybersecurity and information technology. He collaborates with senior leaders across the company, industry partners, and stakeholders to align vision, strategy and culture with the goals and values of the organization and its customers.

During his 9 years with Sev1Tech, Fry served in multiple roles to include deputy CTO, chief security architect for a Space Force customer and project manager for Sev1Tech’s Air Force and Space Force business unit. In these roles, he provided overall technical leadership and direction for the business unit, oversaw the delivery of Defensive Cyber Operations to critical Space Force customers and the review of 1200+ accreditation packages. He as contributed as a technical SME for complex projects and opportunities and ensured mission designs met DoD security requirements.

Prior to joining Sev1Tech, Michael worked as a Cyber engineer at multiple companies to include Nordstrom, NDP, and subcontracts to Northrup Grumman and Lockheed Martin assessing cyber compliance, conducting security operations, and security tool management. 

Fry holds a master’s degree in computer and information systems security/information assurance from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Sciences degree in computer and information systems security/information assurance from University of Maryland Global Campus.
