Joe Re

General Manager, Maritime Division

Joe Re the general manager of Sev1Tech’s Maritime Division. In his role, Re is responsible for integrating growth, operations, and technology strategy across Sev1Tech’s maritime portfolio. He supports Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard missions with integrated IT modernization, engineering, cyber, and program support solutions.

 

Re brings more than 35 years of leadership experience across the federal information technology and maritime mission domains. He is known for creating synergy between people and organizations and has built a reputation for fostering collaboration, enabling innovation, and guiding teams to achieve performance excellence.

 

During his 9 years with Sev1Tech, Re served as vice president of the GWAC/IDIQ Center of Excellence,  and vice president of federal civilian mission solutions. In these roles, he served as the corporate program manager for the OASIS Unrestricted Pool 1 and Pool 3 contract vehicles, overseeing business development, capture management, and proposal development for federal civilian growth opportunities.

 

Prior to joining Sev1Tech, Re held leadership roles across the maritime and federal sectors. As vice president of the National Capital Council of the Navy League of the United States, he supported initiatives to enhance the morale of active‑duty personnel, inform the public on the importance of strong sea services, and fund youth programs and scholarships.

 

His federal career includes extensive service with the U.S. Coast Guard, where he served as chief of the Office of Strategic Analysis and chief of the Office of Performance Management. In these roles, he was responsible for organizational performance management, innovation, and business intelligence programs supporting enterprise learning and assessment.

 

Re holds a Bachelor of Science in government from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and a certificate in foreign politics, international relations and the national interest from MIT Seminary XXI. In addition, Re holds a project management certificate from Syracuse University.
