Bob Lohfeld

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Robert Lohfeld Jr. is the founder and CEO of Sev1Tech, headquartered in Woodbridge, VA.


He is an industry leader with more than 30 years of experience in Information Technology integration and operations, Enterprise Strategy Delivery, and building Performance Based leaders.  


Lohfeld is responsible for developing and executing long-term strategies, managing company operations and serves as the primary representative for investors and stakeholders. Under his leadership and guidance, Sev1Tech has grown from an emerging small business to a formidable mid-tier solutions company with over 1,000 employees, formed strategic partnerships with DFW Capital and Enlightenment Capital, and successfully completed the acquisition of both Engineering Solutions and Products(ESP) and Geocent.


Prior to founding Sev1Tech, Lohfeld served as deputy director of the Enterprise Data Center Operations Group for U.S. Customs and Border Protection where he managed mission-critical operations, IT service delivery and infrastructure management and business continuity. He received numerous awards from the commissioner, CIO and Passenger Program Office for outstanding mission support. At U.S. Internetworking, he directed the implementation, migration, and operations activities for e-business, CRM and ERP programs.


In addition to his leadership experience, Lohfeld has more than 25 years of experience in IT facilities design and integration, IT strategy and large-scale performance-based program management. Lohfeld has successfully led the data center migration and consolidation of many large government agencies in the Washington, D.C. area. This includes the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the U.S. Department of Transportation, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and geospatial and commercial customers.


Lohfeld holds a master’s degree in international management from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts degree in international political systems from Mount Saint Mary’s University.
