We take pride in the success we have achieved thus far and are eagerly embracing opportunities to enhance our efficiency even further. Our responsibility to foster a healthy and sustainable environment remains at the forefront, and we are dedicated to measuring and evaluating the impact of our efforts.
In this second reporting year, having answered Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, we continue our journey towards sustainability. In our inaugural report last year, we undertook the task of measuring our energy consumption and calculating our carbon footprint. The insights gained from this exercise are invaluable, as they guide us in shaping future sustainability initiatives. As we move forward, our commitment to transparency and accountability leads us to include an assessment of Scope 3 emissions again in this report.

Our Energy Footprint
Sev1Tech is committed to reducing its environmental impact through responsible energy use and transparent reporting. Though we don’t own our facilities, we actively partner with landlords to implement energy-efficient upgrades and choose eco-friendly spaces.
We measure and evaluate our Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions annually—covering company fuel use, purchased electricity, and travel-related activities—to understand our footprint and guide future improvements. By maintaining consistent reporting standards and comparing year-over-year data, Sev1Tech continues to advance toward a more sustainable future.
Scope 1
Direct emissions from company-controlled sources, such as fuel used in owned or leased vehicles. Sev1Tech continues to monitor and reduce these on-site energy impacts.
Scope 2
Emissions from purchased electricity used in Sev1Tech facilities. We work closely with landlords to implement energy-efficient upgrades and reduce overall consumption.
Scope 3
Emissions from business travel, commuting, waste, and logistics. Sev1Tech measures and manages these activities to drive continuous improvement across our operations.
Greenhouse Gas Emissions
Our carbon footprint is calculated from our fuel and electricity usage. We utilized the EPA’s GHG Emissions Factors, by region, to calculate our emissions; expressed below in megatons of CO2 equivalent emissions.
We believe these emission levels are responsible for a company of our type and size, but also recognize that there is room for improvement. We plan to continue to compile additional years of emission data for comparative purposes and to help inform future actions. We also recognize that company growth is likely to have an impact on emissions. Our goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 5% each year.
We provide self-attestation that the Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 GHG emissions were calculated in accordance with the GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard.
